There are a variety of iron ores in nature, mainly including magnetite, haematite, limonite, siderite, so the beneficiation of iron ore needs the suitable process to improve the economic benefit. The beneficiation of iron ore needs a series of process, including crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation, gravity separation.
Cyanidation has a history of more than 200 years since it was applied to gold and silver ore extraction in 1887. At present, cyanidation is still one of the main gold extraction processes due to its high recovery rate, high adaptability to ore and local production.
Due to the complex mineral composition of lead-zinc-copper associated silver ore, the symbiotic relationship, embedded properties and oxidation degree of the ores are different, and the effect ofcsilver extraction process is also very different
The required silver extraction process varies from different mineral nature. The mineral extraction method usually used for independent silver ore centering on silver production is the flotation extraction process. While paragenetic and associated silver mines often use a single flotation method, flotation-gravity separation method, and flotation-cyanidation method, with flotation being the most important process.
For the phosphate processing, one phosphate processing method is positive flotation. Another phosphate processing method is to float an impurity mineral and sink a phosphate mineral, called reverse flotation.
Now, the development of gold extraction technology has been relatively mature and complete. Generally speaking, gold extraction processes are mainly gold flotation and gold cyanidation.
Because of the different deposits and ore characteristics, the feldspar mining processes are quite different with each other. Common feldspar mining processes include hand sorting, desliming, magnetic separation, gravity separation, flotation and combined processing technology, in order to separate quartz, iron, mica and other minerals.
Flotation separation method is a relatively complicated method of mineral processing. When using gold flotation method to separate gold ores, the range of parameters determined by the beneficiation test and the production needs of the beneficiation plant are adjusted to determine specific mineral processing schemes for different gold ores to achieve ideal recovery and gold concentrate grade.
At present, the most commonly used gold processing method is the gold cyaniding process. More than 80% of the gold mines use gold cyaniding process to extract the gold. Therefore, what are the methods for the gold cyaniding process? What’s the difference among these methods? Generally, the gold cyaniding processes mainly include carbon in pulp (CIP), carbon in leaching (CIL), pool leaching process and heap leaching process.
