In recent years, China has been advocating circular economy and sustainable development, especially in the recycling of mineral resources (mainly mine tailings). At present, the main problem is that many mineral processing plants do not have their mine design and research institutes, so they can’t design the most reasonable tailings process.
As a leading mineral processing EPC provider, Xinhai has focused on the research on ore beneficiation process and equipment for more than 20 years. Xinhai has set up its mine design institute and tailings dry stacking institute, who can design the most reasonable tailings treatment and comprehensive utilization technology for you.
Xinhai tailings dry stacking system is made up of Xinhai wear-resistant slurry pump, XCI type cyclone, efficient deep cone thickener, high-frequency dewatering screen and belt conveyor. Tailings pulp is sent to hydrocyclone by Xinhai wear-resistant slurry pump. After cyclone treatment, cyclone setting (60% ~ 70% concentration) enter into high-frequency dewatering screen directly, and the overflow is sent to efficient deep cone thickener, overflow water is recycling as the return water. When the concentration reaches 50% ~ 60%, the underflow will be sent to high-frequency dewatering screen. Then, the filtrate water returns to tailings feeding port for recycling, the filter cake (contains 15% water) is transported to the tailings dry pond by belt conveyor for further treatment. Compared with other tailings dry stacking processes, this process is featured with less investment cost, good effect, low energy consumption and environmental protection. Besides, this process also increases the utilization efficiency of circulating water, and basically avoids the dam break. The final dry tailings can sell to brick and aerated concrete factory as raw material. What’s more, this process is completely in compliance with environmental protection requirements of the cyanide leaching process.
