The distribution of gold mine in China is relatively regular, Shandong Zhaoyuan gold extraction plant is an important mineral processing plant in China. In general, the structure of the gold mine is relatively single, and there are so many differences in types & content of impurities and disseminated particle size, which caused the diversity of gold ore dressing process and equipment. At present, alluvial gold equipment is widely used in various mineral processing plants, and different equipment is selected according to the different types of ores.

There are many methods to extract gold, such as physical methods and chemical methods. Physical methods include gravity separation process, which is based on the large proportion of gold ore. The common alluvial gold equipment is spiral chute, jig and concentrating table, which is only applied to separate coarser grained gold ore. Because too small gold particles cannot generate obvious stratification under the action of water movement, let alone the separating effect. As to spiral chute, it is an early developed gold equipment, which can be divided into two sizes. The large one can be applied in the open pit, and the grain size is 50~100mm. The small one is usually used in the gold dredger, the particle size is less than 20mm.

There are various types of alluvial gold ore dressing equipment, which can be used in different mineral processing capacity according to various ore properties.
