Namibia 1,100t/d Copper-Lead Mineral Processing Plant

The metal minerals in the ore were mainly iron oxides, including hematite, magnetite, limonite, covellite, chalcocite, etc., most of which were oxidized. Gangue minerals were mainly composed of quartz, calcite, chlorite, and clay minerals.

Xinhai Solution

  • 01

The grade of copper in the raw ore is 1.26%, and the oxidation rate of copper was 65.87%. Gold, lead, zinc, silver, sulfur, iron, and other elements were of low grade and have no recycling value. Xinhai had designed two roughing, two scavengings, and three concentration flotation processes.

Project Result

After two roughing, two scavengings, and three concentration flotation processes, 90% of raw ore with a grinding particle size of -200 mesh and can be selected as a concentrate with a yield of 4.70%, a copper grade of 19.12%, and a copper recovery rate of 71.28%.
