The albite raw ore is transported to the crusher by the conveyor for crushing, usually jaw crusher, cone crusher, etc. can be used. The crushed albite should be screened to improve the efficiency of the subsequent grinding, and the screening equipment can use a vibrating screen. The screened ore enters the grinding process to further refine the ore particles and improve the flotation performance. Grinding equipment usually uses ball mills, rod mills, etc.
The crushing, screening and grinding processes are the initial treatment process of albite ore. Through these processes, the ore can get a suitable particle size, thus providing the basis for subsequent beneficiation, flotation separation and purification processes.
After the ore is crushed, screened, etc., it will contain some fine particles and mud. These fine particles will affect the subsequent flotation process, so the ore needs to be put into the desilter tank or cyclone first, and the fine particles and mud are removed from the ore by hydrocyclone separation. During the desliming process, parameters such as the flow rate of the desliming tank or cyclone, the size and angle of the cyclone can be adjusted to obtain a good desliming effect.
The overflow from the desliming process contains fine particles and slurries and needs to be collected by a settling tank or cyclone and sent to a settling tank for settling. After desliming treatment, a certain amount of conditioner, anionic collector (such as fatty acid, sulfonic acid) or cationic collector is added to the pulp to improve the selectivity of flotation. The concentration and dehydration steps in the albite ore beneficiation process are to obtain a higher concentration of albite concentrate from the flotation product and remove excess water, making the albite concentrate suitable for subsequent processing and use.
The flotation concentrate pulp is pumped into the thickener for concentration, and the underflow pulp enters the filter press or filter for dehydration.
